Born and raised in Gorleston-on-Sea, Andy first appeared with Acid/Blues 4-piece 'Vinegar Strokes' in 1987. After over two years of gigging and a demo album, he quit to join 'Johnny-D-Spencer', also developing his skills doing Sunday lunchtime jam sessions with R4, Bernie and Mack which eventually developed into the 'Sunday Drivers'.

Alas, Johnny-D-Spencer was short-lived, but the 'Drivers carried on until 1990 when Andy joined Lowestoft based rock band 'Atlantis'. Despite interest from a London Publishing and a demo single recorded at N-W-M Studios near Highbury, nothing came of it and in 1991, after some poor gigs and various name and line-up changes, 'Taliesin' (as they became known) imploded.

In 1992 Bernie approached Andy with an offer to form what was to become 'GODKNOWS'. Fusing the enery of 'Foot in the Door' with the Commercial edge of 'Johnny-D-Spencer', GODKNOWS took boogie-rock to new heights with two top notch demo albums and big shows, all championed by the writings of the late George Frew.

After they split in 1995, Andy made few appearances before joining local blues legends 'Big Red Overcoat' which introduced him to a new audience and range of styles. As 'Overcoat eased off, Tosh and Andy strated gigging as a two-piece acoustic duo, which evolved into 'The Little Big Band', and also introduced Andy to Folk/Ceilidh troop 'Fanackapan'.

''It's great to be back with Bernie and Paul playing original music and having a good time, and with Frank and Bob on board too it's time to Party! Enjoy the music, enjoy the shows.''
