Wow, what a weekend |
|
We're all just relaxing are finishing a band-record of 3 gigs in 24 hours! Talk about singing for your supper! Warm-up, warm-down, warm-up, warm-down ... After playing at the Chequers 'mini beer festival' in the afternoon(cheers Geoff!), we buggered off to Oulton Broad for the party we were booked to play in the evening (hi Sid!). We eventually headed home to hit the hay for a few hours before getting on our bikes back to Oulton Broad to play the opening slot at the charity all-dayer at The Brewery. Phew! |

Excellent weekend in the Studio |

Our stint in the studio this weekend was an amazing groove. We got loads and loads down, it was more successful and productive than I'm sure any of us dared imagine. I'll let you in on a secret: the new album's probably going to be called ... PANIC IN THE FRONT SEAT! |

We're in the studio! |

Mega! We're going into the studio today to start working on our new album, due out later this year. We're in all day today, Saturday and Sunday and we're hoping to get most of the leg work done this weekend. Sadly Monty can't make it because he's skiing! Wish us luck... |

Great news, everybody! The Frank Morrow Band Online Store is now up and running! You can check it out by visiting the Merchandise section of the site! Our EP is available right now, and we'll be adding T-shirts real soon so stay tuned! Rock on, etc. |

Monty's first appearance! |
|
Tonight at the Brewery Tap in Oulton Broad, newest member of The Frank Morrow Band, Monty, made his live debut with us. He played with us for the first half of the set, time constraints obviously meaning he hasn't had a chance to get the whole set under his belt yet, having only joined the band a few weeks ago! |

Studio Time Booked! |

The Frank Morrow Band have booked themselves into Purple Studios for the second time to record our second release, as yet unnamed. We're looking forward to working with Richard Hammerton again, on our upcoming album of original material. We'll be in the studio at the end of March! |

Welcome to the newly redesigned Frank Morrow Band website! Although the cosmetic changes are relatively slight, the restructuring of the site should allow more frequent updates to be made (... i.e. Bernie can do them :P).

Oddfellows Gig Success |
|
Our gig last night at The Oddfellows in Bungay was a considerable success. Thanks to the wonderful Tript for supporting us, and it was good to see some unfamiliar faces there, as well as some very familiar ones! We hope you all had a good time, despite Frank's cold riddled voice and an inpromptu Squirrel attack! See you next time. |

Personnel Change - Welcome Monty! |

We'd like to welcome our newest member to the Frank Morrow Band, Monty! He has joined us on guitar and vocals alongside Bernie. He replaces Bob, who sadly can no longer continue with the band due to other commitments. We look forward to a cracking new year with Monty! |
