Our six-track E.P. entitled The Rose Dies, The Thorn Survives is still on sale for £6. The CD is available to order from this website.

Every penny raised from the sale of the E.P. is donated to Cancer Research UK.

The Rose Dies, The Thorn Survives was recorded in memory of George Frew who sadly died in 2003 from lung cancer. George was the Group Editor of the Advertiser Group before moving on to the Oxford Mail and the Western in Bristol, and won national recognition as a feature writer. George wrote the lyrics to many of the songs featured on the record, and after he passed away the band was formed to record and perform the songs he wrote with Bernie to help raise money for charity.
'The Rose Dies, The Thorn Survives was recorded, mixed and mastered at Purple Studios in norwich with the generous support of Richard Hammerton. The reproduction was funded by kind donation from Geoff at the King's Head and Rob at the Green Dragon in Bungay.
Please use the FMB-Player below to listen to full-length (radio-edited) versions of the tracks from album, whose names are also given.

Please note that these audio tracks have been edited down, remastered, and compressed in MP3 format for transmission over the internet and playback on inferior audio equpiment. The sound quality, content and dynamic range is therefore limited and/or inferior compared with that which is available on the actual album.
